Birstall Bowling Club extends a very warm welcome to all - especially those that are visiting this site for the first time.
CLUB OPEN DAYS: The club will be holding it's Annual Open day again as part of the Bowls' Big Weekend 2025.

or just turning up on the day at the Club.
If the dates are not convenient or wish to try it sooner then please either pop into the Club or contact Steve Bacon via our website.
It has been a great success in previous years and we hope this years event will be as well attended. Thank you to all those turned last year and welcome those that didn't join the club why not give it another go.
Our Club survives because of our volunteers - many thanks for your continued support.
Our Club has been at the heart of the local community now for 78 years and is next to the main Car Park in the centre of Birstall, a village in the Charnwood Area of Leicestershire and our season will run from 7th April to the 29th September 2025
We have three weekly club days during the season currently Monday pm, Tuesday & Friday evenings when we welcome club members as well as those wishing to give it a go.
The club started with just two rinks on some old grass tennis courts behind a house on Park Road, Birstall. It moved to its current site, on the Birstall Playing fields, in May 1957. We are very proud of the standard of our green and facilities, believing it to be one of the best in the County.
Bowls is certainly a sport for all, a sport where everyone can achieve enjoyment at a level to suit yourself. You will find a group of like-minded and friendly people at all levels of ability. Our qualified coaching team will welcome you into the Club and provide you with 4 free coaching sessions to help you develop the necessary skills and knowledge, so that you master the basics of the game.
The Club offers a range of membership options to suit all abilities and ages.
